PW tea

Our church (Harundale Presbyterian Church) is having a Tea on Saturday as a fund raiser for the missions we support and I am hosting a table. I have made these cards and lapel pins for my guests.

Using my cricut new arrivals and beyond birthdays I made this card for my grandson who will be 3. Jr loves Thomas the train, so I made the train moving through a tunnel.

1. Stamp card stock to look like a tunnel.

2. You need to cut a strip in the lower part of the card and attach a "dot' to each train car and to a button on the other side of the dot. Put the button in the groove of the slot you cut.

3. Attach the cars with a black strip and brads.

4. Glue a strip of black paper larger than the slot to disquise the slot.

This is my simply seaside collection of greeting cards. They can be used for birthday, anniversary, sympathy, keep in touch, friends, Mother's day, Father's day, any other occasion you can think of.

Just a little note of Thanks

A little note of thanks. When you need a little something to show that special someone you appreciate what they have done for you and/or given you.

The computer is a wonderful tool. It has allowed us to do so much. However, it has taken away from us the lovely feeling we get when we receive a piece of mail. I know how I feel when I receive a card or letter that has my name and address hand written on it.

Wow! I am so excited, I can't wait to get in the house to open the mail. I have to open it before I leave the mail box! It doesn't even have to be my birthday.

Don't get me wrong email is awesome, but there is still something special about a letter in the mail box. ( no I do not get paid by the USPS)
